Sweet Potato Pizza


I love pizza, I could easily eat a large pizza to myself which isn’t the best thing in the world especially when you look at the nutritional information. My favourite large pizza has 1,282 calories, 38g of fat, 178g of carbs and 54g of protein.

I don’t want to quit pizza because life without pizza is no life at all so I decided to make my own healthier version of pizza and it tastes amazing. I could only eat 3 and I was full. A large pizza costs €11.99 to order so imagine a group of people who all want different topping, that’s gonna be super expensive. This costs barely anything to make, you can put anything on it and takes 25 minutes to bake, so you don’t have to impatiently wait for the delivery guy.

Ingredients: (Serves 4)

3 Large Sweet Potatoes

Nature & Moi Vegan Cheese

Mini Chicken Fillets

Bacon Lardons

Fresh Peppers



Tomato Puree



Cut sweet potato into thick slices.

Grill the chicken and fry up the bacon lardons

Chop up the peppers and mushrooms

Place greaseproof paper on a baking tray

Place your sliced sweet potato on a baking tray

Coat the sweet potato in tomato puree

Add your preferred toppings

Sprinkle with cheese

Pop into the oven at 190 degrees celsius for 25 minutes

1 Chicken Mini Fillet: 34 calories, 0.4g fat, 0g carbs, 7.2g protein

Bacon Lardons (1 tbsp): 5 calories, 3.9g fat, 0 carbs, 0.3g protein

Baby Mushroom: 2 calories

Nature & Moi Vegan Cheese (5g): 10 calories, 0.5g fat, 1.3g carbs, 0.1g protein

Peppers (5g): 4 calories, 0.1g fat, 2.6g carbs, 0.5g protein

Sweetcorn (5g): 4 calories, 0.1g fat, 0.6g carbs, 0.1g protein
